| I was born in 1955, grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and for the last 20 years have lived outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. I live a quiet life with my husband, Richard, our daughter, Rachel (recently off to college) and son, Mischa, and our beloved dog, Magic. Richard, along with being the love of my life, has been a collaborator on all of my recordings and is also my partner in our business, Singing Heart Productions. I am a private person, I adore my husband and children, am a nutcase for my dog, with the spiritual domain at the center of everything in my life. I greatly value freedom, love, humor, kindness, compassion and respect for all of life and this beautiful planet we live on. I love movies (the sweet, inspiring, uplifting kind), a good story, hiking in the mountains and woods, and, after 20 years in the high desert of Santa Fe, the watery green of the Pacific Northwest. I have loved singing for as long as I can remember. My original training was in acting, and it was there that I received my vocal training. With my interest in the spiritual becoming more and more compelling, I ultimately left that path, going on to receive a master's degree in transpersonal psychology. Finding a way to combine my love of singing with my deep interest in the process of healing and spiritual awakening has been a profound gift in my life. I do counseling/coaching on a limited basis, with my primary focus being on the music and the business Singing Heart Productions, which focuses on making my music available to anyone who wants it. |

Recently, after many years of being fairly reclusive, I started accepting a limited number of invitations to do public events. These concert-presentations blend songs from my collection with the sharing of stories and insights from my own journey of healing and awakening. Topics include the healing journey, the deepening of inner peace, and the relationship between personal healing and planetary healing. (See News and Events for upcoming presentations.) I am really enjoying this new form of self-expression and sharing. I do want to mention that I, myself, have been on a long journey of healing and awakening. All of the songs I have written or chosen are a reflection of this journey. I am profoundly grateful to all those who have supported, assisted and coached me through the years. That the work I have done has gone on to gift so many people on their own journey of healing has been my great privilege.
