Advent Lutheran Church, Cedarburg, Wisconsin (Milwaukee area)
10:30 am Service. The intention of the service is to offer a
gift of healing to those who gather.
I will be singing 5 songs during the service, and my friends,
Reverend Janis Kinens and Christy Schwan will be offering readings
and prayers.
The
service is free, and all are welcome. Please visit the Advent

2008: I
am currently accepting invitations for 2008. See

Women's Retreat "Soul Comfort" Led by Sr.
Martha Alken
Church
Of The Risen Savior, Burnsville, Minnesota (Minneapolis
Area)
I will be singing songs throughout the day as part of the
process of renewal and reflection that Sr. Martha will be offering
to the women who gather. The event is open to all women who
are inspired to attend. More information to follow.

Presentations
In
2004, I began doing live events for the first time. I am
enjoying this new way of sharing my music, and especially
enjoy the opportunity to be in personal relationship with
the people who are touched by my songs.
The
information below will tell about the kind of presentations
I am doing, and tell you how to contact me if you'd like
to invite me to present for your organization or community.
My
presentations to date have included a benefit concert, keynote
presentation, a number of church services, a conference presentation
and a concert offered as a gift to the staff of a medical
center. |

The
focus of my presentations is tailored to the group or organization
that invites me. Shaping the presentation to the requested
theme or topic, I weave together a selection of songs with
stories and insights from my journey of healing and awakening.
My intention for the live events, as with my recordings,
is to soothe, inspire and uplift the audience through the
songs and sharings.
Requested
topics have included the healing journey, the deepening of
inner peace, and the relationship between personal healing
and planetary healing.
Fees for
my live events include all travel and lodging expenses, with
my appearance fee negotiable based upon the nature of the
event.
To
date, my most requested offering has been Healing
Ourselves, Healing Our World.

Workshops
In
addition to my solo presentations, I partner with a colleague,
Rhea Emmer, on a day-long workshop called Self-Care
For The Caregiver that is offered through her organization, The
Center To BE. The day includes a selection
of my songs, private reflection, movement, inner processes
and more to support participants in opening to deepened self-care
as they care for others.
To
date, the workshop has been offered to the staff of the Austin
Medical Center, Austin, Minnesota, Central Maine Family Medical,
and on an open basis at The Center To Be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
