Artist Biographies

Here is some information about Cathy, Richard and me, and those aspects of our training and history that we felt were relevant to this project:

Cathy Chapman, Ph.D., M.A., LCSW has been a psychotherapist since 1976. Her doctorate is in Mind/Body Psychology and she is also certified in Advanced Hypnotherapy. Over the years she has integrated spirituality, psychotherapy, energy work and hypnotherapy into a powerful process of brief therapy. Cathy works from a spiritual and energetic context, based upon her belief that people are perfect spiritual beings who came into their physical body for the purpose of spiritual growth. Her guided journey is a loving expression of this context and consciousness.

Shaina Noll, M.A.: Along with her internationally appreciated work as singer/songwriter, Shaina holds a masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology. Moved and inspired by the energy and healing presence she felt in Cathy’s guided journey, she was delighted to be invited to write and sing a song to follow it. As she did with Songs For The Inner Child, she brings both her deep understanding of the healing process and her vocal artistry to this offering.

Richard Noll, M.S., is Shaina’s husband, a musician, educator and certified hypnotherapist who has accompanied Shaina vocally and instrumentally on all of her CD’s. Like Shaina, he spent many years singing their children to sleep. He brings his soothing, loving presence to A Place For You Here, as the tender voice of the father welcoming you to the world.
